World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to increase an item's gear score up to 700 and also add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you bring them to the Kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example, a perfectly rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't change much after an upgrade, and aren't worth it.
Weapons
Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance, and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. Many weapons also have an unaffected bonus that is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a single unit. This bonus may be greater than the damage that a weapon upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity and current level. For example, a +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while the +3 model requires four. mouse click the next internet page of stones required to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs an upgrade to a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. This is usually a positive factor, but it could also have negative effects. In the case of items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them can render them useless unless you happen to have an extremely lucky roll.
Armor items can also be upgraded to improve their effectiveness. In the case of a helm or chest, this will increase its base defense while gloves and belts will increase their strength and dexterity. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense percent. This means that it is able to reroll down to a lower value.
The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their relative values. This means that an upgrade from a sword with 8 damage to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon can be possible by pressing the green button within the item menu, using the arrows that are circling. This will reroll the item and change its stats, but it won't reset the weapon's level nor bind to account status.
Armor
A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons, fire, and magic. This makes it easier to get through difficult areas. In general, the more defense you can offer your character, the greater health you'll receive from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade your armor.
To improve your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest, and the corresponding fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. It is possible to use anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For instance the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to withstand a full on raid with a few of your friends.
It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll want to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're Warrior or Spell Power when you're Mage. You should also save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing by the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
You can also unlock some perks for your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be beneficial to have a few upgrades of the chest armor and helmets that let you stealthy battle some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, provide a temporary effect. There are five different types of potions, each with particular effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded, increasing the effectiveness of their effects. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.
Potion upgrades require a certain amount XP. This can be obtained by making them on a craft table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades changes depending on what kind of potion you wish to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level as well as its rarity.
To upgrade a potion, right-click it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open a GUI which allows you to select the potions that you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they will offer when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP count.
Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not be degraded until you re-use it, or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change the name of the potion.
There were a few updates to potion mechanics in version 1.7.2. For example splash potions now have an average duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item). The table for potion is now made of four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. In contrast to the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be used in cauldrons. Also, putting a potion on a full cauldron drains the liquid and refills the bottle.
Finally, there are lingering potions that are brewed using dragon breath and splash potions. In the same way, a lingering potion can be enhanced by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, like the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket can be an ornamental item that is small, cheap or piece of jewelry. It could also be a small ornament or object that serves a function but is not important, like a trinket. In some cultures a trinket is used to express affection or friendship between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons and armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their stats.
The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are bought with tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.
Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a brand new trinket. You can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same base level as the old trinket, but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
Trinkets can be upgraded once the old ones are not needed which allows a player to increase their power and worth over time. They can be traded between players, making them an alternative to gold.
In item upgrade should upgrade their highest priority items first. This usually means the best-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondaries and then other pieces of gear that they won't replace in the near future (for instance an earring or cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade, players must also consider the preferred statistics of their class. For instance when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank, they should be focusing on upgrading their chest, helm, shoulders, and belt.
Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher ilvl after they no longer have value, and the new trinket will receive an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade will destroy the old trinket until it is salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality. Upgrades to trinkets can be more expensive than other upgrades, but still cheaper than buying new ones.
